Billie Swinscoe

Billie Swinscoe, age 89, of Whitney, passed away on June 30, 2019 in Waco. Funeral services will at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney with Rev. Eddie Booth officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Valley Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday evening at the funeral home.

Billie was born on October 10, 1929, to Elmer and Gladys (Lowe) Slough. She married Elmer Swinscoe June 16, 1946 and he preceded her in death in April of 1971. On December 20, 1976 she married Clarence Swinscoe.

Preceding her in death were her parents, five grandchildren and two sisters.

Survivors include her husband, Clarence Swinscoe; children, Grady Swinscoe and wife, Marie, Larry Swinscoe, Kathy Venable and husband, Richard, Buster Swinscoe and Janita Johnson and husband, Nick; 4 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Joe Slough and wife, Earline, Jerry Slough and wife, Glenda and Edward Slough; sister, Nancy Price.
