Billy Bob Crowell

Billy Bob Crowell, age 93, of Hillsboro passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021. A private family service will be held under the direction of Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.

Billy was born February 12, 1928, in Vaughan, Texas, to Neal Harris and Gladys Belle (Hooker) Crowell. He served his country in the United States Army. Billy was united in marriage to Wanda Hoyle on November 29, 1947, and she preceded him in death on May 8, 2007.

Preceding him in death were his parents; one brother, Garland Crowell; and great-grandson, Brody Nelson.

Billy is survived by his children, Leah Ferguson and husband, Hugh Carla Garrett, and Keith Crowell and wife Carla; brother, Granville Crowell; grandchildren, William Ferguson, Karen Kuehler and husband Wade, Lori Rosa and husband Mike, Jessica Garrett , Melanie Blaszinki and husband Brian, Courtney Nelson and husband Ty, Josh Crowell and wife Laura; and 19 great-grandchildren.
