Billy Frank Irvin, 72, of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, September 28, 2005, at his home. Billy was born December 24, 1932 in Hillsboro the youngest son of Walker Mitchell and Dulcie Aldridge Irvin. He attended Hillsboro schools and served in the United States Army. For 40 years he was an employee at Bell Helicopter, Textron, retiring in 2000. At that time he returned to Hillsboro, where he enjoyed his retirement years visiting with old friends and making new friends. Frank was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Montrue Doty and Ann Cox. Survivors include two brothers, W. M. Irvin of San Angelo and Ross Irvin of Granbury; four sisters, Marie Ramsey of Abilene, Yvonne Lawrence of Dallas, Dell Irvin of Hillsboro, and Edna Orr of Hillsboro; and among his nieces and nephews are Gwynn Orr, Will and Angela Orr, Sam and Emma Orr, Lauren Lawrence, Cutter and Nancy Orr, Allyson Orr, Kyler Orr, Randy and Leslie Denby, and Kobie Denby.
