Billy Raulston

Billy Joe Raulston 79, of Whitney passed away in Purdon on January 5, 2007. He was the son of Marshall and Iva May Raulston. He served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged on Dec. 8, 1946. On Oct. 1, 1949, he married Wanda Oleta Jean and she preceded him in death on Feb. 5, 2005. Billy Joe was a certified water well driller, loved to work and grow watermelons. He was affectionly called Uncle Joe by everyone he knew and worked with. He was a member of Bethel Bible Church. Also preceding him in death were his parents, and brothers, Clarence and M. L. Bud Raulston. Survivors inlcude his children, Steve Raulston and wife, Carolyn of Hillsboro, Vickey Littrell and husband, Mike of Purdon; brother, Jack Raulston of Woodbury; grandchildren, Marc Raulston and wife, Shelley of College Station, Kyle Littrell and girlfriend, Teresa Mick of Raton, NM; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
