Billy Gene Smith 85, 0f Morgan passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at his residence. A graveside service under the direction of Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Hillcrest Memorial Garden. A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney.

Billy was born on June 24, 1935 in Monroe, Louisiana to Henry Maurice and Maglene (Lenard) Smith. He retired from the United States Air Force and was to be a Mason.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara; children, Kenneth, Tim and Terri; 6, grandchildren; 5, great-grandchildren
