Blanche Arnold

Blanche A. Arnold, 95 of Whitney passed away on October 24, 2009. She was daughter of Arthur and Edna Cook Boyd. She was a homemaker, a member of the Whitney Church of Christ and loved taking care and cooking for people. She was a very good care giver to her roommate at the nursing home. Blanche enjoyed visiting with her neighbors and never complained when she was sick. Blanche was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Garland Arnold on May 22, 2002; her son, Vernon Aaron Franks; two brothers, Travis Boyd, and Charles Boyd; great-grandson, Cory Mason; and one grand daughter, Pam Meadows. She is survived by Carol Eubank and husband, Billy of Whitney; Joyce Davis and husband, R.E. of Marshall, TX; daughter-in-law, Peggy Franks of Whitney; sisters, Neva Dean Wall of Cleburne, Ruth Boyd of Keene and Jewel Connolly of Ft. Worth; six grand children, Brenda Fox of Marshall, Sheila Mason of Longview, Mike Franks of Whitney, Randy Franks of Whitney, Teresa Franks of Whitney and Randy Eubank of Waco, Texas; and several great-grandchildren.
