Bob Coughanour

Bob Coughanour, 63, of Decatur, AL died Tuesday, June 15, 2010, at Trinity Hospital in Birmingham, AL. Bob was born April 4, 1947 in McKees Rocks, PA the son of Arthur Alvin and Minerva Madge Gemas Coughanour. He grew up in Pennsylvania, moved to Texas at age 12, and to Hillsboro at age 14. In 1966 he graduated from Hillsboro High School and joined the Navy, serving in Viet Nam. For the past 32 years he has lived in Alabama. He was of the Baptist faith. Preceding him in death were his parents and three brothers, Sonny, Marty, and Larry Coughanour. Survivors include his children, Davey Coughanour of Hillsboro, Allison Coughanour of Hillsboro, and Walter Allen Coughanour of Decatur, AL; and twin sister, Mary Sheffield of Mt Calm.
