Bobbie Jean Odom Hale passed away at her daughters home following a long illness. Bobbie Jean was born on June 18, 1927 in Lubbock, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Lyle and Bernice Hudson Hollon. On Dec. 3, 1945, she married Carl Lee Hale in Lubbock and he preceded her in death on Dec. 11, 1988. An active member of First Baptist Church of Laguna Park she was treasurer for several years and retired from the position in 1998. Bobbie Jean enjoyed ceramics, playing cards, painting and was a very good artist. She also liked to fish and was manager of the Kingcreek Lodge for a short time. A caring person she was a good caregiver to family members or anyone who needed help. She was a member of Daughter of Nile and secretary of ABWA Waco chapter. Survivors include her children, Judy Judelson and husband, Harvey of The Coloney and Charlotte Hale of Lubbock; half brother, Joe Ray Odom of Whitney; sisters, Vella Lusby of Lubbock, LaVerne Kujala of Glendale, AZ; three grandsons, Jody Bond, David Judelson and wife Snow, Benjamin Judelson and wife Lisa; seven great grandchildren, Desiree Brown, Taylor Judelson, Dylan Judelson, Devon Judelson, Emma Judelson, Dannielle Judelson and Sara Judelson.
