Bobby Dollar

Bob Dollar passed from this life on September 17, 2010, in Arlington, Texas. Bob was born January 21, 1930, to William Jack and Pearl Dollar in Hillsboro, Texas. He married his lifelong soul mate Mary Frances Kirkpatrick January 1, 1948. They lived in Ft. Worth for many years. Bob retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone where he sold Yellow Pages advertising. He also served eight years in the US Air Force. His Air Force duties afforded him the opportunity to travel extensively in Europe where he acquired a love and knowledge of antiques. In his retirement, he owned and operated Bob Dollar Antiques in Ft. Worth. Bob was a member of Missionary Baptist Church in Hubbard. Bob was preceded in death by his father and mother. He is survived by his wife Frances, brother Charles and wife Shirley, all of Arlington. His nieces are Rebecca Evans and husband Gary of Hillsboro; Susan Fuchs and husband Cheyenne of Brock; and Jennifer Stoecker and husband Mark of Mansfield. He also has four great nephews, one great niece, beloved aunts and uncles, and cousins galore. Bob cherished his family. Family history was important to Bob. He always considered Hillsboro to be his home, and he chose to return there for his final resting place. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 6605 Sanger Ave. Suite 1, Waco, TX 76710
