Bobby Gibson

Bobby Joe Gibson, 70, of Hillsboro passed away Thursday, July 31, 2014, at Homestead Nursing and Rehabilitation in Hillsboro. There are no services scheduled.

Bobby was born September 2, 1943 in Tennessee to Forrester and Viola Gibson. An avid fisherman, he also enjoyed hunting and tinkering with and working on appliances. He especially loved spending time with his dog, Cowboy. Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Hulsey of Hillsboro; five children, John Gibson and wife, Ashley, of Lenoir, North Carolina, Scott Gibson and wife, Dawn, of Fulton, Kentucky, Stephanie Gibson of Durham North Carolina, John Hulsey of Hillsboro, and Heather Owens of Whitney; and nine grandchildren.
