Bobby Clifton Hightower, 35, of Whitney passed away Monday, June 2, 2008. Bobby was born Nov. 14, 1972, in Longview, to James Clifton Butch and Rebecca Jane McKay Hightower. He moved to Whitney in 1986 and graduated in 1991 from Whitney High School. He married his high school sweetheart, Deanna Lee Hyslop, Aug. 15, 1992. He worked for many years in retail sales for Dillards before going to work for Pike Electric in 2005. Bobby was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother, that cherished his family. He loved sports and was the coach for his children's teams in basketball, baseball and football. He also loved boating, waterskiing, but most of all he loved the time he spent with his family. It was important to him that his children knew just how proud he was of them and their accomplishments. Bobby was a wonderful man that embraced life and lived it to the fullest. He will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Nancy Crain, Dec. 22, 1989; grandfather, Melvin O'Neal McKay, March 31, 2007; uncle, Donald Wayne Price, May 30, 1999 and aunt, Judith Ann Price, June 3, 2007. Survivors include his loving wife, Deanna; two sons, Dillon Carter, 14, and Dawson Brady, 5; one daughter, Bailee Lauren, 8; mother, Rebecca Jane Hightower; father, James Clifton Butch Hightower; grandmother, Janice Orene Hawkins; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Belinda and Johnny Huggins and Brandy Jane Hightower; one brother and sister-in-law, Brandon Cassidy and Krystal Krissi Hightower; one half brother, Christian Anthony James Hightower; two nieces, Kati Allison Hugginsand Kena Amber Hightower; three nephews, J. T. Huggins, Johnathan Huggins and Gage Cassidy Hightower; two uncles, Marty O'Neal McKay and Bobby Neal Hightower; cousins, Joshua Hightower, Chassie Hightower, Chad Price, Heath Putter Price, Christy McKay and Brenda Bright; mother and father-in-law, David and Nancy Ridlehuber;grandparents, Charles and Eileen Overton, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, nieces nephews and other relatives and friends. A scholarship fund has been established for Dillon, Bailee and Dawson at First National Bank, PO Box 547, Whitney, TX 76692
