Bobby Lyday

Bobby Lyday, age 63 of Whitney passed away October 17, 2010 in a aco Hospital Bobby was the son of Henry Washington and Alice Haardt Lyday. He grew up in Dallas and attended school there. On May 26, 1967, he married Nancy Richardson and they moved to Whitney in 1971. He was an electronic repairman for several years and served as Chief of Police in Whitney during the 1980's. Bobby was a member of the Cedar Creek Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Richard Lyday. Survivors: wife, Nancy Lyday of Whitney; children, Bryan Lyday and wife Tonya of China Spring, and Tina Jones and husband, Scott of Hewitt; two brothers, William Egan of Pickton and Rusty Lyday, one sister, Barbara Merritt of Plano; six grandchildren, Garrett Jones, Gabrielle Jones, Hunter Lyday and Emiel, Eric, and Ashley.
