Robert Wayne “Bobby” Neumann, 64, of Malone passed away February 4, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family and friends. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Monday, February 6, 2012 at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Salem Lutheran Cemetery in Malone with Dr. Kent Heimbigner officiating.
Bobby was born November 6, 1947 in Malone to Robert and Frieda (Degner) Neumann. He graduated from Hubbard High School and received an Associates Degree from Hill College.
He moved to Houston in the 1970's and worked for Associates Freightliner and Kenworth. He married the former Debbie Kleiber October 23, 1976 and to that union were born one son, Robert Colby and one daughter, Dallas Elizabeth. Bobby was a life long hunter and enjoyed hunting with his many friends. Hunting was his passion.
He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Neumann and nephew, Robert Scott Riddle.
He is survived by his mother Frieda Neumann of Malone; son, Colby Neumann of Dallas; daughter, Dallas Neumann of Conroe; sister Pat Riddle and husband, Scott of Hubbard; nieces, Pam Riddle Cooper and Donna Riddle; great nieces, Jennifer Cooper Cheak and husband Stephen, and Kathryn Cooper; great great nephew, Cooper Scott Cheak.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of Scott & White Hospice for their compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Tris Speaker Youth Club, P. O. Box 445, Hubbard, Texas 76648.
