Bobby Wade

Bobby Charles Wade, 84, of Hillsboro passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at the Olin E. Teague Veteran’s Medical Center in Temple. Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 3, at Peoria Cemetery in Peoria with Rev. Eddie Booth officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 AM, Saturday, prior to the service at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.

Born in Milford on November 15, 1933, Bobby moved to Peoria during his youth. Following school, he served his country in the U.S. Navy for two years. In November of 1957, he and Kathleen Swink were united in marriage. Their union continued for 59 years until her passing on April 10, 2017.

Bobby worked for Kyser-Cliett Refrigeration in Hillsboro until 1976 when he opened his own business, Wade Refrigeration. In his sparetime, he enjoyed getting away and spending time fishing. He was a member of Peoria Baptist Church. Also preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors include his son Ronnie Wade and wife, Michelle, of Hillsboro and several nieces and nephews.
