Bobby Williams

Bobby D Williams 81, of Whitney, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2016. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 A. M Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Bethlehem Cemetery, near Whitney. A visitation will be held from 6-8 P.M. Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney.

Bobby was born on June 12,1935 in Whitney, to the late William D. and Stella (Watts) Williams.
He moved to Dallas in 1952. On February 9, 1957 he married Virginia Springer in Maypearl, Texas and they moved to Whitney in 1981.
Bobby worked in Dallas for 28 years as a police officer with the Dallas Police Department before retiring in 1985. He served his country in the United States Army and was a member of the Towash Baptist Church. An avid knife collector and trader, he also enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing with his grandson Jeffery.

Preceding him in death was a son Timothy Williams on February 22, 1981 and a sister Peggy Worley.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Williams; daughter, Tammy Aguirre and husband Roy; son, Thomas Williams and wife, Cathy; sister, Diana George and husband, Drew; grandson Jeffery D Aguirre and wife, April; great-grandsons, Brendon and Cohen and many other loving relatives and friends.
