Brandon Wayne Adye

Brandon Wayne Adye, age 28, passed away on December 7, 2024 at his home in Whitney, Texas. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Brandon was born in Irving, Texas on October 15, 1996. When Brandon was little he always dreamed of driving a big truck, when we became an adult his dream came true and he got his CDL License. He came off the road a few years ago to come home and help take care of his mother. Brandon worked for Dakota Drilling until the time of his passing. He loved spending time out at lake with friends, sitting around the firepit with his family, playing video games, playing his guitar, and writing beautiful poems. Brandon loved his nieces and nephews, often taking them to go watch a movie or go on a shopping spree. He always took them to eat at their favorite places. Brandon being the youngest, he would reach out to his brothers for their support and love. Brandon and his mom were so close, they often spent time together doing a bunch of different activities.

Brandon was truly loved and will be missed dearly.

He is preceded in death by his father, Rusty Adye; his grandparents, Charles and Katy Schoonover. Jerry and Lynda Katenkamp, and Barbara Mathews.

Brandon is survived by his mother, Lucrecia Schoonover and his step-mother, Sharla Adye, both of Whitney, Texas; two brothers, Bryant and  wife, Janice Adye of Palmer, Texas, and Jeremy and Heather Adye of Whitney, Texas; uncles and aunts, Brian and Jennifer Schoonover of Midlothian, Texas, April and Tony Pickett of Midlothian, Texas, Larry Adye of San Diego, California, Laura and Eric Sullivan of Dawson, Texas, Terry and Joy Katenkamp of Caddo Mills, Texas, and Paula Horton of Rockwall, Texas; 6 nieces and nephews, Logan, Austin, Abby, Boston, Asher, and Evelyn; also a host of other family and loving friends.
