Brandon was born on July 20, 1977, in Houston, to James Clifton “Butch” and Rebecca Jane McKay Hightower. After falling in love with Lake Whitney, the family became permanent residents in 1986.

He was proud to achieve 20 years of service in the profession he loved.

Brandon was a loving and devoted husband, dad, son, brother, and uncle who cherished his family dearly. There is nothing Brandon enjoyed more than being a dad and watching his kids, Gage and Kena, play sports. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Hightower; dad, Butch Hightower; grandmother, Nancy Crain; grandfathers, Virgil Hightower and Melvin McKay; aunt, Judy Price, uncle Wayne Price and brother-in-law, Johnny Huggins.
