Brandon Shelton

Brandon Gean Shelton, 16, of Whitney left this Earth to be with our Lord due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident on April 14, 2009. Brandon was born on Oct. 22, 1992 in Hillsboro, the son of Bobby and Jean Cox Shelton. He grew up in Whitney and attended Whitney High School. He enjoyed skateboarding, playing video games and tennis. He also enjoyed participating in school competitions, German Club, folk dancing, headlining with the school paper, UIL, power lifting and spending time with his family and friends. Preceding him in death were his grandfather, Bobby Gean Shelton, Sr, maternal grandfather, Noe T. Beltran and maternal grandmother, Cinderella Beltran. Brandon was a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend. Survivors include his parents, Bobby and Jean Shelton of Whitney; grandmother, Pamela Shelton; brothers, Daymeine Sanford and wife, Janie of El Paso, Morgan Sanford of Whitney; sisters, Summer Morris and husband, Jason of Grand Prairie, Cinnaman Sanford of Whitney; 2 nephews, Aidan Holder, Jonas Morris; niece, Jaysa Morris and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
