Brenda Hamilton

Brenda Hamilton, 58, of Waco passed away Monday, September 18, 2017, near Axtell. The family will receive friends at a memorial visitation on Thursday, September 21, 2017, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro. No other services are scheduled at this time.

Born June 13, 1959 in Athens, Brenda was the daughter of Billy Joe and Eva Ella (Richardson) Andrews. She grew up in Gun Barrel City and at an early age worked at Brack’s Barbecue in Gun Barrel City. On February 24, 2000, Brenda was united in marriage to Jesse Hamilton. She was a representative with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company before becoming a team driver with her husband for 20 years. The couple received the Team Driver of The Year award from Conway Trucking.

Traveling and taking cruises with her family gave Brenda many great memories. Taking care of her family was a priority for her and whether they were hungry or not, she would make sure they were fed. She was a Christian.

Preceding her in death were her parents; brother, Ronnie Andrews; and sister, Glenda York.

Survivors include her husband, Jesse Hamilton of Waco; three sons, Jason Hamilton, Joshua Hamilton and wife, Erika, and Thomas Spears and wife, Jennifer; brother, Johnnie Andrews and wife, Wanda; sister-in-law, Peggy Andrews; six grandchildren, Jakeb Hamilton, Alanna Adams, Trace Spears, Trent Spears, Jayden Hamilton, and Jo Ann Hamilton; numerous nieces and nephews; and her four dogs, Wussie, Nubbin, Buddy, and Princess Leia.
