Brenda Pittser

Brenda Kay Pittser, 65, of Bynum, passed away in Decatur on Tuesday, December 13, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 16, 2016, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney, with Michael Braudaway, officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Valley Cemetery in Whitney. A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at the funeral home.

Brenda was born on February 27, 1951, in Malvern, Arkansas, to J.D. and Lorene (Hughes) Gullett, but she grew up in California. On October 19, 1969, she married Larry Pittser, in Arknasas. In l977, they moved to the Haltom City area and she worked in market research for about 10 years. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and crafting.

Preceding her in death was her father; her husband, Larry Pittser, on April 28, 2008; and infant brother and a sister, Carolyn Larrew. Survivors include her mother, Lorene Gullett, of Morgan; children, Lydia Zimmerman and husband, Richard of Bynum, Josh Pittser and wife, Michelle of Euless, and Shelly Threatt and husband, Tim of Boyd; eleven grandchildren, Brittany Zimmerman, William Zimmerman, Jessica Zimmerman, Sam Pittser, Lisa Pittser, Emily Zimmerman, Abigail Threatt, Kairi Pittser, Ayden Pittser, Caleb Threatt, Jerusha Threatt; one great-grandson, Haydn Grzybowski; a brother, George Westfall and wife, Katherine of Oklahoma; and sisters, Pam Braudaway and husband, Mike of Arlington and Judy Rejeck and husband, James of Arlington.
