Bruce Eugene Glover

Bruce Eugene Glover 51, of Whitney, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 28, 2020. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm Monday, June 1, 2020 at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney. Pastor Gerald Dudley will be officiating.

Bruce was born in Dallas, on March 26, 1969 to Mary Faggart and John Glover. He was a second generation carpenter and machine operator. He loved Lake Whitney, and enjoyed swimming, camping, fishing, all at the lake. Bruce was a fan of the Washington Redskins and NASCAR. He had a passion for cooking and watching Emril’s cooking show on television, he loved seeing your reaction when you tasted his latest creation. Bruce was a man of God and loved beyond a persons appearance. He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife, JoNell Glover of Whitney, his mother, Mary Faggart; sons, Daniel and Chris Glover, of West Virginia; sisters, Mary Alice Massey and husband, Jerry, Joana Gilbert and husband Luke; brothers, John Glover and wife, Donna, Jackie Glover, Daniel Glover, Michael Tanner and wife, Nicole, many loved nieces and nephews, as well as many dear friends.
