Carl Dennis

Carl Dennis, 49, of Covington passed away Thursday, February 25, 2016, at his residence. His family will host a private memorial service at a later date.

Carl was born May 16, 1966 in Phoenixville, PA. On December 5, 2015, he was united in marriage to Chris Collins. He and his father, Al Dennis, shod horses together for many years in Hill and Johnson counties. An avid sports fan, he especially enjoyed golfing, fishing, and hunting. Carl loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a truck driver and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Chris Dennis of Covington; father and step-mother, Al and Jimmie Dennis of Tuskahoma, OK; mother and step-father, Linda and Darold White of Elmore City, OK; three daughters, Jessica Stewart and husband, Wayne, of Hillsboro, Crystal Leach and husband, Wil, of Santa Fe, and Jennifer Vaughn of Rio Vista; three brothers, Kevin Dennis and wife, Rhonda, of Alvarado, Chris White and wife, Dana, of Davis, OK, and Michael Duke and wife, Shannan, of Mansfield; three sisters, Kim Burrell of Elmore City, OK, Peggy Deen and husband, Terry, of Sulphur, OK, and Goldie Hines and husband, Barry, of Mansfield; and eight grandchildren, Bryce, Austin, Xanden, Khloe, Kenzie, Kelcee, Violet, and Kylee.
