Carl Eberhardt

Carl James “Jimbo” Eberhardt, 74, of Whitney passed away Monday, April 23, 2018. A celebration of life is scheduled to be held at his home in Whitney on Sunday, May 20, at 2:00 p.m.

Born October 11, 1943 in Greeley, Colorado, he was the son of Charles and Helen Eberhardt. He enjoyed spending his time fishing, hunting, and just being outdoors. When he was not outdoors, he enjoyed watching any sport that happened to be on. He loved watching the Texas Rangers, Denver Broncos, and even though he wouldn’t admit it, the Dallas Cowboys.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Charles and Helen; brothers, Darrell and Duane; and sister, Carolyn.

Survivors include his daughters, Carrow Cummings of Whitney, Tamara Guthrie and husband, Chris, of Whitney, and Julie Eberhardt Vicic and husband, Billy, of Wylie; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
