Carla Mcdonald

Carla A. Boots McDonald, 53, of Temple died Monday, August 30, 2010, at Scott & White Hospital in Temple. Carla was born September 14, 1956 in Hillsboro the daughter of Melvin and Joan Gunter Boots. She was a graduate of Hillsboro High School. On October 29, 1999 she married Donald McDonald, III in Hillsboro. A very outgoing person, Carla enjoyed working with special needs children and was currently working for Central Texas Child Care Services. An avid shopper, she also enjoyed traveling very much and her favorite color was pink. She loved dogs, especially Layla. Preceding her in death was a brother, Don Boots. Survivors include her husband, Donald McDonald, III of Temple; parents, Melvin and Joan Boots of Hillsboro; daughter, Caprice Bynum Wade and husband, Blake, of Austin; step-daughter, Lisa McDonald of Whitney; two brothers, Billy Boots and wife, Karen, of Richardson and their children, and Glenn Boots of Hillsboro; and a sister-in-law, Donnie McDonald of Austin. She is also survived by Don Boots' children and several other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
