Catherine Delmore “Bay” Cleveland, 88, of Fort Worth passed away Saturday, August 16, 2014, in a Fort Worth nursing home. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at Ridge Park Cemetery in Hillsboro with Father Ouseph I. Thekkumthala of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Hillsboro officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.

Born November 27, 1925 in Hillsboro, where she grew up, Catherine was the daughter of R. Delmore and Bessie (Miller) Renfro. She was a graduate of Hillsboro High School and attended Baylor University. On June 1, 1949, Catherine married Tom Cleveland and he preceded her in death on August 27, 2005. The couple lived in Hillsboro until moving to Fort Worth in the mid 1960's. Catherine was an avid reader and loved watching old black and white and English movies. She was raised in the Catholic faith. Also preceding her in death were her parents and a son, Guy Cleveland, on August 11, 2008.

Survivors include two daughters, Kay Clements and husband, Jerry, of Hillsboro and Maudie Anne Earl and husband, Chris, of Hollywood, CA; daughter-in-law, Karen Cleveland of Pennsylvania; special daughter -in-law, Patricia Hughston of Fort Worth; six grandchildren, Melinda Landry, Amanda Taylor, Catherine Morris, Caitlin Earl, Courtney Fox, and Adeana Patterson; and ten great-grandchildren.
