Catherine Helms

Catherine Helms, 78 of Whitney passed away on November 18, 2011.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, November 21, 2011 at Abiding Life Full Gospel Church in Whitney.

Catherine was born on February 2, 1933 in Hillsboro; the daughter of the late Arthur and Flossie (Jacobs) Thomas. She grew up in Hill County and graduated from Hillsboro High School. Catherine kept books for Sears and for a long time at Park Plaza Nursing Home. She was a member of Abiding Life Full Gospel Church.

Also preceding her in death was her brother, Milton Thomas.

Survivors include her children, Tommy Helms, Jr. of Plano, Cindy Helms Wilkins of Ennis, Amelia Helms of Whitney; sister, Judy Falkner of Waco; grandchildren, Rebecca Wilkins, Toby Wilkins; great grandchildren, Jade, Brice and Jordan Wilkins and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
