Catherine Sue (Humphrey) Mcrae

Catherine Sue (Humphrey) McRae, age 68, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on July 23, 2024. Memorial visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney, Texas. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Open Range Cowboy Church in Whitney, Texas.

Catherine was born on November 9, 1955 in Irving, Texas to her parents Oscar Charles Humphrey and Billie Louise (Cockrell) Humphrey. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend who will be missed deeply by her family and friends.

Catherine is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Charles Humphrey and Billie Louise (Cockrell) Humphrey ; and siblings, Linda Goodman, Dewayne West, Ricky Humphrey, and Durlene Dicheman.

Left to cherish Catherine's memory, is the love of her life, Joe Allen McRae; children, Michael Tanner and wife Nicole of Whitney, Joanna Gilbert and husband Luke of Whitney, Jonell Glover of Whitney, John and Elaine McRae of Denton; and six beautiful grandchildren, Kolby, Kaden and Kinslee Tanner of Whitney, Casen Gilbert of Whitney, and Loralei and Lorissa McRae of Denton.
