Cathy Pritchett

Cathy Moore Pritchett, 58, of Lorena, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2014, at a local hospital. Memorial services will be held at 2 :00 PM Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.

Cathy Jo Moore Pritchett was born September 23, 1955 in Hillsboro, Texas to Earl and Edith Moore. She grew up in Hillsboro and attended Hillsboro High School. Cathy graduated from McLennan Community College with her master's degree in psychology. Through the years, Cathy stayed busy in many administrative positions and owning her own business as a real estate agent until poor health forced her to leave the work force. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, who loved her children and grandchildren very much. Cathy was also well known for her huge heart and champion for stray and abused animals.

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Edith Moore of Hillsboro, Texas and brother; David Moore of Waco, Texas.

Survivors include her daughter, Cara Parry and husband, Nathan, of Amarillo, Texas; son, Jake Bennett and fiancé Jeri Serratt of Waco, Texas,; son, Adam Bennett of Waco, Texas; grandchildren, Talon, Kylee, Rylee, Weston, Peyton and Kelton; sister, Nancy Ford of Amarillo.
