Cecil Mobley

Cecil Mobley, 72, of Bynum passed away Friday, August 15, 2014 at his home. Services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Marshall and Marshall Chapel with Rev. Edward Sumrall officiating. Burial will follow in Brandon Cemetery. A visitation will be held 6 - 8 p.m Tuesday at the funeral home.

Cecil was born December 17, 1941 in Centerville, Texas, the son of Floyd and Cecilia (Bowman) Mobley, and they preceded him in death. He graduated from high school in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Cecil married Donna Webster in 1957. He married Leah Robertson Smith on July 25, 1986 in Bynum. Cecil worked for Miller Brewery in Ft. Worth, retiring after 40 years. He loved fishing and farming. Cecil loved his kids and his grandkids. He was a member of Bynum Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Leah, of Bynum; children and spouses, Debbie and Rudy Holden of Fort Worth, Sandy and David Rochelle of Irene, Becky and Greg Kunze of Penelope, Patty Mobley Price of Indianapolis, Indiana, Jennifer Smith and Ben Burns of Burleson and Brandon and Crystal Mobley of Hubbard; brothers, J. R. Goolsby of Cameron, Chuck Mobley and wife, Shirl of Fort Worth, Bud Patterson and wife, Oris of Burleson, Neal Whitehead and wife Ruby of Tyler; sisters, Frances Evans and husband, Billy Bob of Jewett and Bonnie Szepessy of Corpus Christi; mother in law, Patricia Robertson of River Oaks; brother in law and wife, Stephen and Sondra Robertson of Waxahachie; grandchildren, Ember, Luke, Cody, Charlie, T. J., Philip, Josh, Jacey, Jessica, Cortney, Chance, Paige, Kinley and Gavin; great grandchildren, Bailey, Brooke, D.J., Casen, Blake, Caleb, Hagen, Noah, Easten, Alaina, Bryson, Peyton, Macey and Jaycob; numerous nieces and nephews.
