Cecilia Shelton

Cecilia Sanderlin Shelton, 57 of Aquilla passed away on November 2, 2011 after a long hard battle with cancer since 1988.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney.

Cecilia was born on October 30, 1954 in Fort Worth, the daughter of Rufus and Lucy (Tsuchida) Sanderlin. She grew up in Rendon and Mansfield and graduated from Mansfield High School in 1973. On August 18, 1973 she married Danny Shelton. She worked many years for Pier One Imports and Calidad Foods in Fort Worth.

Survivors include her husband, Danny Shelton of Aquilla; parents, Rufus and Lucy Sanderlin of Aquilla; children, Jennifer Griffin and husband, Greg of Allen, Andrew Shelton and wife, Ashley of Whitney; brother, Mike Sanderlin and wife Stephanie of Arlington; sister, Cora Lee Praught and husband, Eric of Hurst; 3 grandchildren, Kristiana and Maegan Griffin, Ashtin Shelton and several nieces and nephews.
