Charles David Fridge

On November 16, 2024, Charles David Fridge, known as David, went home to the Lord. David was born April 29, 1945, in Fort Worth, Texas. His parents were E.M. Fridge Jr. and Faye Fridge.  In honor of Charles David Fridge, visitation will be held on November 23, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM, with Ernie Fridge officiating. Both events will take place at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney, Texas, located at 201 North Bosque Street, 76692.

He graduated from North Side High School and The University of Texas in Arlington, Texas. On November 11, 1966, David married the love of his life, Irma Stipp of Fort Worth. His career was in Human Resources. The couple moved to Red Oak in 1977. David was an active leader in their church and a devoted husband and father. He was a man above reproach loved by those who knew him. 

David retired in 2007. In 2015, the family moved to Whitney, Texas, where David continued to live until his passing. David loved the outdoors and through the years he fished, jeeped the Rockies and learned to ride horses. 

He was preceded in death by both his parents. He is survived by his wife, Irma, and his two sons, Brian Fridge and Brandon Fridge, his brother, Ernie Fridge and wife, Frankie. Also surviving are many dear nieces, nephews and cousins.
