Charles Hunt

Charles “Chuck” Hunt 64 of Midlothian passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018 in Waxahachie. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Whitney. Officiating will be Mr. Bruce Martin. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 PM on Friday, January 4, 2019 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Whitney Memorial Park.

Charles was born on November 12, 1954 in Scotland, Arkansas to Jessie Coleman Younger and Nancy Lydia Leona (Kimmel) Hunt. He married Linda Gayle Montgomery on November 28, 1977, she preceded him in death on November 1, 2006.

Charles worked as a lineman for many years and during that time made many friends. He served his country in the United States Army for six years, including a two year tour in Germany.

Charles was a loving father and grandfather with an incredible sense of humor enjoying the time he spent with his family. He was always there to brighten the day of those around him with a smile.

Also preceding him in death were his parents, a son, Terry Jack Hunt, brothers, Lewis Kimmel, Jessie Hunt, Henry Hunt, Martin Hunt, Johnny Hunt and Larry Daughtry.

Survivors include his children, Jennifer Hunt, Carla Gonzalez, Mary Martin and husband, Dustin;
grandchildren, Richard, James, Alex, Zeke, Terry, Tori, Harmony, Kaitlyn and Delanie; sister, Betty Hodgkiss, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors P.O. Box 273, Whitney, Texas 76692 to assist family with funeral expenses.
