Charley Aaron Osteen, 72, of Whitney went to be with the Lord, Saturday, January 9, 2021, at Town Hall Estates in Whitney. A celebration of life will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday January 30, 2021, at The American Legion Post 522 in Whitney with Dennis Pena officiating. Facial masks and social distancing are required.
Charley was born October 14, 1948 in Uvalde, Texas to Floyd and Willie Mae Wallace Osteen. Charley loved to hunt, fish and play golf. He adored his grandkids, encouraging and support them in all they did. He was excited about the upcoming arrival of 2 new great granddaughters. Teagen to Lindsey and Autum and Zaygen to Blake and Jaycee.
Charley married Donna Rae Lindsey White June 3, 1972. They were blessed with 47 years of marriage until she proceeded him in death in December 2019. 1 year, 1 month and 3 days later he joined her in Heaven.
Charley was also proceeded in death by his parents, sister Shirley Peck, brothers Warren and George Osteen and infant grandson Kasen Kilpatrick
Charley, better known as Dad, Papa or Hun is survived by a sister, Mary Lou Delfatti and husband Tony of Wisconsin; 3 daughters, Diane Orban and husband Brad, Jennifer Davis and husband Beau, all of Whitney and Tina Jones of San Angelo; grandchildren, Derek Kilpatrick, Brooke Kilpatrick, Blake Osteen and wife Jaycee, Lindsey Davis and partner Autum, Kimberly Davis and partner Trent, Kenneth Osteen and wife Jonnie, Lexi Chapman and husband Tim, Cali Orban, CJ Orban, Jon Juelg and wife Desirae.; great grandchildren, Brody Kilpatrick, Brantley Kilpatrick, Kaisley Davis Bullock, Destiny Juelg, Avery Juelg, Silas Chapman, Sydni Chapman and Madelynn Orban; and Numerous nieces and nephews.
