Charlotte Prugel

Charlotte Ruth Prugel, 72, of Las Vegas, NV passed away Saturday evening, February 18, 2017, in a Las Vegas hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 26, 2017, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro with Mr. Glen Standly officiating. Burial will follow at Brandon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Saturday, February 25, at the funeral home.

Charlotte was born on June 27, 1944, in Hillsboro to Roy and Ruth (Curtis) Harvey. A 1962 graduate of Hillsboro High School, she went on to receive her Masters in English/Library Science 1966 at Texas Women's University in Denton, Texas.

Charlotte married John Prugel and had one daughter. She worked for Exxon Mobil the majority of her career before she retired and later moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2010. Charlotte enjoyed traveling when she could and spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed.

Preceding her in death were her parents; brother, Roy Harvey and sister, Emily Melton.

Survivors include her daughter, Jaime Del Franco of Las Vegas, Nevada; son-in-law, Don Del Franco; two grandsons whom she loved dearly, Dylan and Derrick Del Franco; two nieces, Angela White of Moody, Texas and Sherryl Finch of Eddy, Texas; nephew, Chris Melton of Eddy, Texas; two great-nieces; two great-nephews; one great-great niece; and five great-great nephews.
