Christine Butler (Kirk) Downs

Christine Butler Downs, age 87 of Whitney passed away Friday June 9, 2023, at her son's home in Tolar, Texas.

Christine was born in Lewisville, Kentucky on November 6, 1936, to Thomas Earl and Francis Eugene Bratcher) Kirk. She was a great mother she would do all she could to help the kids do all they wanted to do. Christine was a fine woman everyone loved how good she was, good as gold, and if I could of picked my mom, she is the one I would have chosen.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jim Downs; and her second husband, Gerald William Butler.

Christine is survived by her children, Raymond Kirk Butler, Reginald Thomas Butler, and Randall Dewayne Butler; and her brother, Sammy Joe Kirk.
