Christy Jean

Christy Jean, 36, of Blum passed away Sunday, September 23, 2012, at her residence. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Hillsboro with Mr. Roger Stewart of Covington Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View "Jaw Bone" Cemetery near Blum. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM, Wednesday at Marshall & Marshall.

Christy was born February 24, 1976 in Corsicana. On July 1, 1995, she married Jr. Jean in Balch Springs. She loved to cook, hunt, fish, and race cars, but more than anything else, Christy loved her family unconditionally. She was a homemaker and of the Church of Christ faith.

Preceding her in death was a brother, Jason Villiva.

Survivors include her husband, Jr. Jean of Blum; mother, Patricia Starks of Richland Chambers; father, Bobby Villiva of Waxahachie; two children, Destiny Jean and Ty Jean both of Blum; two brothers, Tristin and Trey Minefee both of Richland Chambers; and her in-laws, James and Caron Jean of Irving and John and Judy Cox of Hillsboro.
