Clifton Frank Ayers

Clifton Frank Ayers, 79, of Osceola, Texas, passed away on August 12, 2022, after a short illness.  Graveside services will take place at 10:00 am, Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at Itasca Cemetery, Itasca, Texas.  Mr. Ayers will lie in state from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday, August 15, 2022, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro, Texas.

Frank was born on September 10, 1943, to Ben and Oleta (Atkins) Ayers in Itasca, Texas.  He attended Itasca High School and graduated from Hill County Junior College.  He had a long-running career in Information Technology and communications.

He was a bible scholar and traveled numerous times to Israel.  Horticulture was another life-long passion.

He was devoted to his home and spent his retirement years enjoying the family home.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents and brother James Allen Ayers.  He is survived by brothers Joe Weldon Ayers and Jack Wayland Ayers; nieces Julia Diann Spencer and Sabre Ayers Wright; great-nephews Reagan Spencer and Jude Spencer; and great-niece, Aubrey Yocham.
