Clyde Thomas Patton

At about 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, February 6, 2022 – five days shy of his 89th birthday – our Dad, and Mom’s soulmate – peacefully passed away at Town Hall Estates in Whitney, Texas where he and Mom have been living since July 1994.

Dad; who was a U.S. Navy Korean War veteran and retired Dallas Police Department Helicopter pilot – was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Patton of Owensboro, Kentucky in July 1966, and his mother, Eula Chism in 1994. He leaves behind his wife of 63 and a half years, JoNell Patton, his children, Alan Patton of Hideaway, Texas, Jack Wallace of Midlothian, Texas, Penny Patton of Hillsboro, Texas and Richard Patton of Arlington, Texas.  He leaves behind 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at Noon on Friday, February 11, 2022, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Whitney with Allan Patton officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Garden of Memory in Hillsboro. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to Noon prior to the service.
