Curtis Ray Ender

Curtis Ender, 65, of Malone, Texas, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2024, at Baylor Scott & White in Temple, Texas.  A memorial visitation will take place from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.

He was born January 14, 1959, to Fred Ender, Jr. and Selma(Lander) Ender, in Waco, Texas.  Curtis grew up in the Malone area, attending schools in Malone and graduating from Bynum High School in 1977. He worked at Pilgrim’s Pride in Waco and several auction barns in the area.  Curtis enjoyed fishing, gardening, working on lawn mowers and helping friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, Curtis is survived by three brothers, Melvin Ender and wife, Pam, of Aquilla, Alvin Ender and friend, Susan Christofferson, of Itasca, and Gilbert Ender of Malone; nephew, Dillon Ender and wife, Morgan and their son, Dallas, of Robinson; step-nephew, Frankie Bashioum and wife, Courtney and their children, Amyah, Nevaeh and Frankie, of Waco and other relatives.
