Curtis Lee Stephens, 78, of Cleburne passed away Monday, June 10, 2019 at his residence. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 14, 2019 at Ridge Park Cemetery in Hillsboro with Pastor Mark Wheat and Pastor Brooks Monk officiating.
Curtis was born May 31, 1941 in Hillsboro, Texas to Columbus Levi and Hessie Pearl (Chenault) Stephens. Curtis graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1959 and married his high school sweetheart Pat Hunt. He owned and operated Stephens Beauty Salon on Corsicana Hwy until 1976 when the family moved to Fort Worth. Curtis spent the rest of his career in the auto sales industry until retiring in 2010. Curtis and Pat retired to Cleburne, Texas and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Curtis is survived by wife of 59 years, Pat Stephens; daughter, Lorie Wheat and son-in-law Mark of Hughson, California; son, Chris Stephens and daughter-in-law Kristi of Alvarado, Texas; and six grandchildren, Justly Marie Maya, Abigail Grace Stephens, Evan Richard Wheat, Colin Luke Stephens, Honor Lee Ann Wheat, and Selah Jane Wheat.
