Cynthia Chouinard

Cynthia Shoup Chouinard, 48 of Burleson passed away on February 10, 2011 at her home.

Graveside services will be held at Noon, Monday, February 14, 2011 at Hillcrest Garden of Memory near Hillsboro. Visitation will be from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. Monday at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors in Hillsboro.

Cynthia was born on August 2, 1962 in Coffeyville, Kansas to George and Ruby (Rinker) Shoup. On July 15, 1988, she married Robert L. Chouinard in Whitney, Texas. She spent her life caring for her husband, children, grandchildren and the rest of her family.

She had worked as a loan officer for the mortgage industry for 10 years.

She was preceded in death by her father, George Lee Shoup, Sr.; brother, George Sonny Smith and father-in-law, Archie L. Chouinard.

Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Robert of Burleson; mother Ruby Lee Shoup of Whitney; children, Christopher D. White, Amanda N. Hamilton and husband, Jody L. all of Arlington; brothers, David L. Shoup of Cedar Hill, George L. Shoup, Jr. and wife Anja of Dallas; sister, Patricia Byars and husband Bill of Lorena; sister-in-law, Shirley M. Smith of Woodbine; brother-in-law, Richard D. Chouinard and wife Angela of Waco; mother-in-law, Maria A. Chouinard of Waco; grandchildren, Coleton L. White, Maddox W. Hamilton and soon to arrive Evelyn Hamilton; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
