Daisy Oneta (Watson) Reinert

Daisy Oneta (Watson) Reinert, 99, of Hillsboro, Texas, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2023, in Temple, Texas. Funeral Services will take place at 11:00am, Thursday, August 31, 2023, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors, Hillsboro, with Pastor Al Crane officiating.  Burial will follow at Ridge Park Cemetery, Hillsboro, Texas.

Daisy was born June 11, 1924, in Temple, Texas, to Noel N. and Lou Emma (Russell) Watson.  She spent part of her childhood in Whitney, Texas, then moved to Hillsboro.  Daisy was united in marriage to Joe Ed Reinert on August 2, 1941, in Whitney.

She was a faithful employee for Safeway Grocery Store, retiring in 1981. After retirement, she enjoyed volunteering for her church and spending time with family and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, Noel N. and Lou Emma Watson; her husband, Joe Ed; her sisters, Lou Ella Dennis and Callie Whites; and her brother, Eldon Watson; Daisy is survived by her children, Larry Reinert and Sandra Guffy and husband, Harold; her grandchildren, Nina Reinert, Joe Guffy, Jr. and wife Marilyn, Jim Guffy and wife Patti, Julie Swinney and husband, Tim; great-grandchildren, Molly Bernard and husband, Brad, Gage, Madeline, Miranda, Adam, Eryn, Claire, Ella, Noah, and Jordan; and one great-great-grandchild, Makenzie Bernard.
