Daisy was born October 25, 1915 in the Woodbury Community, of Hill County, Texas to Ervin and Carrie Hill Malone. She lived most of her life in Hillsboro where she graduated from high school. On May 24, 1941 she married Walter A. Rogers in Hillsboro and he preceded her in death on December 6, 1976. For many years she worked as a clerk in various stores. She was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church, where she was very active in the Mary Martha Circle, the church choir, and the Builder?s Bible Class where she served as president, treasurer, and song leader. Daisy was a member and active in the Hillsboro Senior Citizens Organization. A very talented seamstress, she made ?designer clothes? for her children before people knew what designer clothes were. Also preceding her in death were her parents, six brothers, and two sisters. Survivors include two daughters, Dolores Hunt and husband, Harmon, of Fort Worth and Janice Roberts and husband, Herb, of Cleburne; a brother, Harvey Malone and wife, Elizabeth, of Pampa; a sister, Wilma Autrey and husband , Bill, of Diamond Bar, CA; seven grandchildren, Debbie Anderson and husband, Chris, of Arlington, Kathy Fogarty and husband, David, of Crowley, Scott Hunt and wife, Stacey, of Arlington, Jennifer Corley and husband, Brett, of Celeste, Kent Curry and wife, Dianna, of Reno, NV, Shane Curry of Hillsboro, and Nicole Curry of Florida; fourteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
