Dale Nichols

Dale Nichols 78, of Aquilla passed away on June 19, 2015 at Hill Regional Hospital in Hillsboro. Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, June 24, 2015 in Prairie Grove (Greenie) Cemetery near Aquilla.

Dale was born on December 17, 1936 in Aquilla to Walter Ranson Nichols and Maudie Burton Nichols. He attended Aquilla High School . In 1956, he moved to Ft. Worth to begin a career at General Dynamics and retired from Lockheed Martin in 1999 after 38 years of service. He also served in the Texas National Guard for 4 years.

He was preceded in death by his Father and Mother, brothers, Wayne, Royce, and Troy Nichols, a sister Vona Nichols Sumpter.

He is survived by his brother Loyd and wife Molly Nichols of Aquilla; sisters, Doris Nichols Boucher and Nell Nichols Hurley of Whitney; daughter Dalene Nichols, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

We would like to thank Town Hall Nursing Home and staff, the EMS attendants that worked so hard to save him and Dr. Underwood and staff of Hill Regional Hospital.
