Dalton Taylor

Dalton Ray Taylor passed away in Hillsboro on March 5, 2005. Dalton was the son of Simmeon William and Eddie Lou Cannon Taylor. He was raised around Sand?s Flat. He married Linda M. Davis on October 30, 1959 in Cleburne, Texas. He lived in the Joshua area for 30 years and in the Covington area for the past 12 years. He was employed by Retco Welds for 15 years and was of Baptist faith. Preceding him in death were his parents, cousin and best friend, Gene Finn; brothers, Douglas Taylor, Melvin Taylor and Thomas Taylor. Survivors include his wife, Linda Taylor of Covington; children, Simmeon Monroe Taylor of Covington, Junea Dee Wisian of Cleburne, Eddie Lynn Johnson and husbnd Tommy Dale of Joshua; sisters, Betty Bell of Alvarado, Frances Holt of Whitney, LaVerne Collins and husband Brad of Decator; half-brother, Doug McArther and wife Pat of Lake Worth; uncle, Quanah Parker Cannon of California and five grandchildren.
