Daniel Lawrence Delisle

Daniel Lawrence DeLisle, age 53, of Whitney passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021, in Waco. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, October 22, 2021, at Hillcrest Garden of Memory in Hillsboro with Rev. Eddie Booth officiating.  A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday, October 21, 2021, at Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel in Whitney.

Daniel was born March 7, 1968, in San Jose, California, to Dan and Judith (Stark) Delisle. He graduated from Whitney High School in 1986. Dan owned his own roofing business in Whitney for many years. He loved gardening, making wood gifts and he was always willing to help a neighbor. Daniel had a good heart and loved being a Texan. He was baptized on November 24, 1974.

He is preceded in death by his father, Dan DeLisle; sister, Susanne DeLisle; and brother, Jeffrey DeLisle.

Daniel is survived by his mother, Judith DeLisle; daughter, Nicole Gentry and husband, Barry; son, Billy Cash DeLisle; granddaughter, Aspen Gentry; grandsons, Gavin Gentry and Kristian Gentry; nephews, Mike DeLisle and Trey DeLisle; Aunt and Uncle, Eileen and Charles Overton; numerous extended family members; and his dog, Paco.
