Danny Dale Miller 68, of Laguna Park, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at his residence. The family is holding a memorial service at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 22, 2016, at Open Range Cowboy Church in Whitney, Dr. Gerald Dudley, officiating.
Danny was born on October 27, 1947 in Louisville, Kentucky to Ralph and Bernice (Skaggs) Miller. He was raised in Louisville and graduated from High School in 1966. He married Beverly Jean Bouchard on February 14, 1996 in Laguna Park.
For five years, he worked as an inspector at the Peanut Mill in Whitney and worked for the Methodist Children’s Home for 16 year, retiring in 2013. He also owned and operated a lawn care business.
He served his country in the United States Navy, was an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 27 years and attended Open Range Cowboy Church in Whitney.
Danny enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting and being outdoors. He was an excellent cook and loved doing fish fries and was also known for his chili. An awesome storyteller and was a walking encyclopedia; if you needed to know anything just ask Danny.
Preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Bernice Miller.
Survivors include his wife Jean Miller of Laguna Park; children, Kathy Miller, Melissa Miller, both of Louisville, KY, Brian Jasper, Brittany Jasper also of Louisville, KY, Kim Greico and husband, Ray of Bristol, CN, Thurston Voisine and wife, Gina of Northfield OH, Menbere Seife of Ethopia; sisters, Letha Reed, Pam Curtsinger, Lois Clark and Sherry Maddox, all of Louisville, KY; and six grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Beverly Miller which will go to helping children at Open Range Cowboy Church in Whitney.
