Darline Jean, 78, of Hillsboro died Saturday, November 22, 2008, at her residence. Darline was the daughter of Buck and Ruby Padgett Thomas. She married Dempsey L. Jean on March 21, 1950 in Ft. Worth. She enjoyed painting, music, and playing the mandolin. She played in the Woodbury Band for several years. She was preceded in death by her parents. Wanda was a member of the Woodbury Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Dempsey L. Jean of Hillsboro; two daughters, Sue Hollis and husband, Dean of North Richland Hills and Patsy Pappajohn and husband, Nick of Ft. Worth; two sisters, Squibb Martinez of Bonham and Genafern Donihoo of North Richland Hills; two grandsons, Kevin York and wife, Kristy, and Tyler Jean York and wife, Krystal, all of Ft. Worth; and a granddaughter, Tammy Hollis of Ft. Worth.
