Daryl Ross Stauffer, 63, of Clifton passed away on September 21, 2005 at his residence. He was born on February 1, 1942 in Phoenix, AZ to Willard and Veronica Crawley Stauffer. He graduated from Paschal High School in Fort Worth in 1961. He served his country in the U. S. Marine Corps. On June 15, 1962 he married Linda Fowler in Fort Worth. Daryl was a 32 years decorated veteran of the Dallas Fire Department where he retired in 1998 as a Captain. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, avid hunter and fisherman and a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys and will be remembered for his wonderful storytelling ability. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Whitney. Survivors include his wife, Linda of Clifton; parents, Willard and Vonnie Stauffer of New Braunfels; children, Daryl Ross Stauffer, Jr. and wife, Sabrina of Waco, Brad Stauffer and wife, Kristen of Waco, Stacy Owens and husband, Rick of Midlothian; brother, Ed Stauffer and wife, Gayle of Clifton; sisters, Craig Horton of San Antonio, Kara Jordan and husband, Jan of Portland, Oregon; parents-in-law, Ed and Frances Mayes of Duncanville and grandsons, Billy and Phillip Galt. Memorials may be made to Alsheimer's Association, 2910 Swill Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75204
