Dave Edwards

Dave Edwards 76, of Laguna Park in Bosque County passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at his residence.
His family will have a memorial gathering to honor him on Wednesday December 14, 2016 at 6:00 PM at The Bosque Resort in Laguna Park.

Dave was born in Columbia, Alabama on December 14, 1939 to Warren and Mellie (Price) Edwards. He played football at Abbeville High School and Auburn University. While at Auburn, he was named to the All-SEC Team in his Senior year. In 1962, he joined the Dallas Cowboys and played until 1975. During this time, he helped the team accomplish three NFC Championship wins and a Super Bowl win in 1971. All together, he played in three Super Bowls.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Gail in 2003.
